TGI has been a pioneer in the sports industry, continuously evolving and setting the benchmark in event branding, perimeter advertising and other technology solutions for some of the biggest names in the sports industry. Having recently introduced a new form of targeted perimeter advertising, TGI is searching for the right talent to continue building traction in the market by not only maintaining but enhancing our technical offerings.
Our new technology is called Parallel Ads, or “PADS” for short. It integrates with live broadcasts to deliver multiple feeds of advertising content on LED systems, enabling rights holders to sell targeted advertising to different markets.
The Developer will work closely with the Operations and R&D team to expand upon Parallel Ads and other TGI platforms. The focus of this position will be to ensure that Parallel Ads technology, including its hardware and software elements, are working in harmony with multiple LED systems and other software systems. This includes a deep understanding of how to program FPGAs, and work with both firmware and software products. The successful candidate should understand writing and improving software code in C#, with an understanding of Quarus Prime, Visual Studio and VeryLock.
Maintain and build-upon the Parallel Ads code for hardware/ software in Quartus Prime and Visual Studio
Integrate new LED systems with Parallel Ads by compiling new RBF files with Quartus Prime and testing new RBF files.
Build and test new PADS timing scenarios to optimize the output
Rerouting data lines of new PCB layouts with Quartus Prime via an Intel/Altera FPGA
Re-program refresh rate/dclock of LED system via the Parallel Ads hubs (PADS Hubs)
Work together with development team on other internal/external tech products
Support matchday operations where needed
Help integrate Parallel Ads with third party technologies as needed
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience with electrical engineering/physics and/or software/firmware programming in C# and UX/UI development with Visual Studio
3+ years of experience with Quartus Prime for programming Intel/Altera FPGA’s
An exemplary attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience with LED and/or virtual advertising is a positive
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Working knowledge of Auto-CAD and Altium Designer and PCB layout design
Experience with measuring devices such as an oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer
Bonus to have a background in broadcast and camera engineering
Understanding of EMC/FCC rules and regulations
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Knowledge of React, NodeJS/Python, MySQL – is a bonus
Excellent communication skills
Must be fluent in both spoken and written English.
