TGI has been a pioneer in the sports industry, continuously evolving and setting the benchmark in event branding, perimeter advertising and other technology solutions for the world’s premier sports organizations.  Having recently introduced a new form of virtual advertising, TGI is searching for the right talent to not only manage existing clients and LED operations, but also deliver this innovative technology to the market.


The Project Manager works with our sales representatives, client service representatives, artists, installation and warehouse associates to turn our client’s vision for sports event marketing into reality. The position will help us meet our customer needs and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. The Project Manager will ensure timely and accurate delivery of the world class sports and entertainment events projects that we manage.


·       Leads the development, production and delivery of projects from concept to completion.
·       Analyzes client’s needs and criteria to determine the goals of the project.
·       Assists with event project delivery that is accurate, on time, within budget, and exceeds customer 
·       Assists in revenue generation and works to increase quantity and quality of services delivered.
·       Develops, communicates and maintains timelines and priorities on every project.
·       Fosters and maintains client relationships through communication, follow up / follow through and 
        fulfilling client demands in an accurate and timely manner. Creates opportunities for future 
        sales/increased revenue.
·       Works with onsite operations managers to support overall execution of events.
·       Assists with the management of operational, creative and administrative functions to ensure 
        specific projects are delivered effectively and efficiently.
·       Conducts site surveys pre-event to capture measurements, chooses appropriate materials and 
        determines install/dismantle solutions.
·       Coordinates with accounting dept to track payables (shipping, labor, etc.) and any other job costing 
        (supplies, travel, etc.) related to event.
·       Provides calendar event information to VP of Operations on a regular basis and updates as needed.
·       Assists sales representative with determining overall operational budget for event by:
        -     creating a preliminary operational plan including timelines and staffing needs
        -     obtaining vendor quotes (shipping & potential lifts)
        -     accounting for “what-if” variables
        -     finalizes above and ensures all meets client’s expectations and venue best practices
·       Responsible for tracking and meeting project budgets from start to finish.
·       Prepares post-event reports (internal/external) and distributes summaries to stakeholders.
·       Identifies and monitor progress toward art and print production deadlines.
·       Monitors shipping schedules, identifies delivery times to warehouse and installation timeframes.
·       Identifies obstacles and creates resolutions to meet end-product delivery on time and within 
·       Serves at point of contact for client, venue, and vendors both pre and post event. 
·       Manages on-site staffing to ensure timelines are followed, client needs are being met, venue 
        contacts pleased, and relationships with all enhanced.
·       Ensures all staff are trained and adhere to onsite installation safety procedures.
·       Ensures excellent customer service and quality delivery for every event.
·       Performs related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.


•       Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, project management or other business-related degree.
•       Successful previous project management or production management experience.
•       Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels 
        of the organization.
•       Strong ability to build and maintain relationships.
•       Strong problem-solving skills, solutions minded and proven ability to meet deadlines.
•       Ability to multi-task, remain agile and work efficiently within a fluctuating and fast paced 
        work environment.
•       Experience and understanding of materials for use in the field to create cost effective solutions.
•       Extraordinary organizational skills, detail oriented, and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
•       History of demonstrated work excellence and strong business acumen
•       Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as within a team.


•      Seeing: Must be able to read reports and use computer - Regularly 67-100%
•      Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with coworkers - Regularly 67-100%
•      Sedentary: Up to 10lbs. Involves mostly sitting - Regularly 67-100%
•      Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling - Occasionally 12-33%

The Project Manager will split office time between our downtown corporate office and our warehouse in Bridgeview, IL.  In addition to Monday-Friday work hours, there will be times when you will be required to work some weekends and evenings according to the event calendar. Personal time-off should be planned around heavy periods of event activity and pre-approved by direct supervisor.  Frequent overnight travel (about two weeks per month) to offsite client and event locations is required.
